We know Adam Sandler mostly for his comedy films, but along with being comedy, Big Daddy has much more to it and the reason it is first on our list is because it is his best film ever.
The Waterboy
Bobby Boucher Jr. is the water boy for a successful college football team coached by Red Beaulieu. His overprotective mother, Helen, raises him. When Beaulieu fires Bobby, he goes to work for a losing rival team led by despondent Coach Klein in the same role. Klein adds Bobby to the roster as a line-backer after seeing him beat up a guy who mocked him too much. Klein’s players will soon be title contenders. The Waterboy is true art and Adam Sandler’s best classic movie and everyone who loves Adam Sandler should definitely watch this one.
Grown Ups
There is a thing common between a lone man who consumes excessive amounts of alcohol, a man has three daughters whom he sees only sometimes, a man who is unemployed and overweight, a househusband who has been hen-pecked, married to a fashion designer, a renowned Hollywood agent. They all used to be on the same high school basketball team. Now that their previous mentor has passed away, they are reunited at his memorial service. Will the group’s previous bonds be rekindled? The movie is not only funny but is also an eye opener, and you will love it for not only the comedy but the amazing storyline.
The Longest Yard
Paul Crewe, a disgraced pro football quarterback, ends up in jail, where manipulative Warden Hazen encourages him to instruct the institution’s team. This leads to his taking over as the starting quarterback for a team of inmates in a game against a team of prison guards. Crewe and his squad must overcome not just the bloodlust of the enemy, but also the crooked authorities attempting to fix the game against them, with the help of incarcerated ex-NFL coach Nate Scarborough. This film is great if you want to watch a solid comedy.
Billy Madison
Billy Madison is a man child who has spent his entire life as a spoilt rich kid, drinking and partying all day. When his father, hotel billionaire Brian, has had enough of his son’s careless behaviour, he gives him an ultimatum. Billy must retake and pass every grade in 24 weeks, as he passed all of his schools thanks to his father’s influence and bribes. Otherwise, Brian’s devious associate, Eric, will be in charge of the company. The movie is great in terms of plot, storyline, and the symbolization of themes is amazing.
Just Go With It
Danny Maccabee is a plastic surgeon, who pretends to be married in order to enjoy hook-ups without having to commit. His lies are effective and take him a long way until be meets Palmer, the girl of his dreams. When Palmer finds out Danny is married, she refuses to be involved. Rather than come clean, Danny has his secretary, Katherine act as his soon-to-be-ex-wife. Rather than alleviating Danny’s problems, the lies just make things worse. The movie is funny, romantic, and emotional and is best if you want to watch a feel good movie.
Anger Management
A mild-mannered man is involved in an incident on an aircraft and is made to attend anger management lessons in order to avoid going to jail. The class’s teacher is combative and unconventional, and he ends up moving in with the man to help him overcome his inner disputes. The movie is funny, as well as romantic and is good to watch if you want to watch something light and funny.
Murder Mystery
A New York cop and his wife take a European trip to rekindle their relationship. They are framed for the murder of an elderly billionaire after an unexpected encounter. The film is full of comedy and is one our favorite Adam Sandler movies. If you haven’t watched this one, watch it now. The film is hilarious and some of the scenes are funny enough to give you a tummy ache. As a comedy film, The Ridiculous 6 is one of our favorite.

When the small-time pot dealer David is robbed while helping his teenager neighbor and his love interest, he learns the hard way that no good deed goes unpunished. He loses his cash and stash while attempting to help them. Now David is deeply in debt to his supplier, and in order to clear the slate, he must travel to Mexico to pick up the latter’s next consignment. Dave devises a failsafe scheme to complete his mission: he packs a fictitious family into a large RV and drives south of the border for a crazy weekend that is sure to end with a bang. The film is full of action, comedy, and a little bit of drama and it will have you laughing like crazy.
